Position: Events Coordinator
About: ASM Global, managing the Shreveport Convention Center, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to oversee the planning and execution of events within the facility, ensuring smooth logistics and client satisfaction from booking to post-event tasks.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; working knowledge of facility management principles; excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; problem-solving and supervisory experience preferred; professional presentation and work ethic; basic computer skills; ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all staff levels; flexibility to work long and irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to move around facilities for extended periods.
