Position: Events Assistant
About: Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D) is a dedicated team supporting Harvard’s advancement activity through front-line fundraising, alumni and volunteer engagement, technology, prospect management and research, business process, events, communications, and other related areas. The team aims to create a respectful environment that leverages diverse talents and experiences to deliver strong results. The AA&D team includes the University Development Office (UDO), Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) Development, AA&D Resources, the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA), and the Office of the Vice President (OVP). They focus on organizing events such as commencement and reunion celebrations, gatherings with Harvard’s intellectual leaders, and showcasing campus innovations to engage alumni and donors effectively.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 1 or more years of office experience; Knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work overtime including evenings and weekends
