Position: Events and Special Campaigns Manager

About: The Salvation Army in Greater Philadelphia is seeking an Events and Special Campaigns Manager to coordinate and execute various events and campaigns to support the organization’s mission. This role reports to the Community Relations and Marketing Senior Executive Manager and indirectly to the Divisional Director of Corporate Engagement.

Requirements: Minimum BS or BA degree, preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Sales, or Hospitality; 1-3 years of relevant event planning professional experience; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines; well-organized and proactive; proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office and donor/volunteer management software; good judgment and leadership qualities; valid driver’s license with willingness to travel; adherence to ethical standards and background check requirements; support for The Salvation Army’s mission.
