Position: Event/Tradeshow Manager

About: This position is for an Event Program Manager at a company focused on strategic event program development in support of their business plan. The role involves managing relationships with key partners and reports to the Head of Client Experience. The position is remote but requires the candidate to be based in NYC or Boston. The initial duration is 12 months with the possibility of extension. The pay rate is between $50 to $58 per hour (W2 with benefit options)

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of event marketing and/or marketing communications experience; ability to juggle, prioritize, and balance goals, projects, and personalities; expertise in events and/or marketing, ideally within the financial services industry; experience interfacing and negotiating with groups at all levels and across multiple functions; highly customer-focused and willing to provide services to internal partners and external clients; ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment, adaptable and reliable with a strong ‘can do attitude’; excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; strong budget oversight and optimization; ability to travel as needed (10-15% time)
