Position: Event Solutions Manager
About: The Javits Center, located on Manhattan’s West Side, is the busiest convention center in the United States, hosting a wide range of events that contribute significantly to the economic activity of New York City and the state. With a recently completed state-of-the-art expansion project, the venue offers over 850,000 square feet of exhibition space, meeting rooms, a rooftop pavilion, and various services.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 3 years of experience in the Trades Show/Events Industry; excellent communication and customer service skills; detail-oriented and strong organizational/time management skills; ability to work independently and within a team environment; proficient in MS Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database experience; ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the facility, and sit at a desk as needed
