Position: Event Setup & Moving Crew
About: The Event Setup and Moving Crew position is part of a team responsible for supporting over 2000 special events per year with move-in, setup, and teardown. This role also includes providing a variety of in-house moving and delivery services along with ad hoc custodial support. The position reports to the Custodial Services Manager and the Event Setup and Moving Crew Team Lead.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; one to three years of experience in custodial, event setup, moving, warehouse, or related facilities position; team player with excellent collaboration skills; reliable with a sense of urgency for timelines; highly organized and able to multitask; self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; basic math skills; strong reasoning ability; basic computer knowledge; completion of Blood Borne Pathogens training; pass physical exam; possession and maintenance of a valid Illinois driver’s license.
