Position: Event Service Specialist
About: Maritz Business Events Solutions helps organizations create impactful and memorable experiences through expertly designed meetings, conventions, tradeshows, and corporate events. The Event Service Specialist (ESS) is the day-of onsite primary client point of contact for assigned programs and events, responsible for the onsite execution of all program and event logistics, ensuring exceptional client/guest experiences by providing superior customer service for Maritz Global Events onsite operations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Strong preference for degree programs in hospitality/event management or equivalent hospitality experience. Excellent computer skills, knowledge of G-suite tools & ability to learn new technology quickly. Professional communication, teamwork and leadership skills required. Must have the ability to work with a flexible schedule that could include last-minute changes. Must be able to handle the physical demands of the position which may include but are not limited to extensive standing, lifting, etc. Must be dependable, flexible, self-directed and able to work with all levels of employees both independently and in a team.
