Position: Event Sales Manager
About: Hyatt Regency Portland is seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join their team. Situated near the Oregon Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Portland offers over 39,000 square feet of customizable event venues, catering to a variety of events from Corporate Events to Weddings. The manager will be responsible for selling and servicing events, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction. This position involves working closely with clients and hotel staff to coordinate all event details and maintaining high standards of service.
Requirements: A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment; refined verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in general computer knowledge and ability to learn new applications; extreme attention to detail and organization; previous catering sales experience preferred; ability to work under pressure; preserve confidentiality and collaborate effectively in a team; exceptional time management and organizational skills
