Position: Event Reservations Coordinator
About: DePaul University is seeking an Event Reservations Coordinator to join the Lincoln Park Student Center Facilities team. The coordinator will oversee the reservation process for events held in various spaces, including outdoor areas like the Lincoln Park Quadrangle and St. Vincent’s Circle. Additionally, they will be responsible for event planning, communication, and coordination with internal and external clients as well as managing the department’s email account and website.
Requirements: Bachelors degree required; Two years of full or part-time work in event planning/production or operations position helpful; Higher education experience and student development experience preferred; Event planning and customer service experience in a non-profit setting helpful; Experience with Event Management System and Meeting Matrix is beneficial; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Working knowledge of event planning processes, audiovisual equipment, and catering systems; Ability to respond to emergencies during non-business hours; Availability for campus events outside regular business hours expected
