Position: Event Production Coordinator
About: Lakeshore Athletic Services, Inc., a local Chicagoland event company, is seeking Event Production Coordinators to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in the operational and logistical aspects of the endurance sport event industry. Ideal candidates should have a passion for event planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Event Production Coordinator will work closely with different managers and event leaders, creating customized quotes, detailed event plans, and managing day-to-day functions related to scheduling and inventory management.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in event planning or a related field desired; proficiency with Microsoft Office products; ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and adapt to last-minute changes; strong written and verbal communication skills; capacity to work in a team environment; capability to work extended hours at outdoor venues and lift 30-50 lbs; valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR); adherence to zero drug and alcohol policy; compliance with safety policy and code of conduct
Benefits: Annuary salary starting between $55,000 – $60,000 based on level of experience, Health benefits including RX, vision, dental, and life insurance, Per diem for travel event work
