Position: Event Planning Partner
About: The Adler Planetarium, located in Chicago’s Museum Campus, is dedicated to connecting people to the universe and each other. With a focus on meaningful connections dating back nearly a century, the museum hosts over half a million visitors annually and engages in various outreach projects to inspire exploration and critical thinking.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; two or more years of experience in event coordination and execution; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and long shifts; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple events simultaneously; intermediate project management skills with tools like Google Suite; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to maintain quality control throughout event planning and execution processes.
