Position: EVENT PLANNING MANAGER
About: At Hyatt, our caring and attentive associates are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences for our guests. The Event Planning Manager at Hyatt primarily serves Sale bookings, acting as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. Responsibilities include administering the Sales agreement, detailing Food, Beverage, and A/V needs, managing room blocks and pick up, billing instructions, and final review. Event Planning Managers are also on-site contacts responsible for the smooth execution of all events.
Requirements: A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred; Completion of Event Management Trainee program preferred; Proficient in general computer knowledge; Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment; Preferred candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training; Refined verbal and written communication skills.
