Position: Event Planning Manager
About: Hyatt Regency Portland is seeking an experienced Event Planning Manager to join their team. Located steps away from the Oregon Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Portland boasts the largest hotel in Oregon with 20 customizable event venues. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, delivering exceptional event planning services.
Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience is strongly preferred; a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment; refined verbal and written communication skills; must be proficient in general computer knowledge and be able to learn new computer and web-based applications; candidates should be extremely detail-oriented and organized; previous hotel F&B operational experience or exposure is a plus; ability to work under pressure; ability to preserve confidentiality and work in a team environment; exceptional time management and organizational skills.
