Position: EVENT PLANNING MANAGER
About: Hyatt Regency Baytown is seeking an Event Planning Manager to join their team. This role involves servicing sale bookings, liaising between meeting planners and hotel staff, managing event details, and ensuring smooth execution. The hotel, located at the base of the Fred Hartman Bridge along the Houston Ship Channel, offers modern amenities and warm southern Texas hospitality with 208 guest rooms, a restaurant, lobby bar, and 18,000 sq. ft. of meeting space including a ballroom and waterfront event space.
Requirements: A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment; refined verbal and written communication skills; 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience; proficiency in general computer knowledge; extreme detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment; two years of hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
