Position: Event Planning Manager
About: Hyatt Regency Portland, located near the Oregon Convention Center, is seeking an Event Planning Manager to join their team. The hotel offers 20 customizable event venues totaling over 39,000 square feet, accommodating a wide range of events from small gatherings to large-scale functions. The Event Planning Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating meetings, conventions, and social programs, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees by liaising with various partners and vendors.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning experience preferred; refined verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in general computer knowledge; detail-oriented and organized; ability to work under pressure; excellent time management and organizational skills
