Position: EVENT PLANNING MANAGER
About: Hyatt Regency Portland, located adjacent to the Oregon Convention Center, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Event Planning Manager to join their team. This upscale hotel boasts 20 customizable event venues spanning over 39,000 square feet, catering to a diverse range of events from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions. The Event Planning Manager plays a crucial role in orchestrating seamless events and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring a high level of service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning or equivalent experience preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in general computer knowledge and willingness to learn new applications; strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset; ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain confidentiality; previous hotel Food and Beverage operational experience a plus
