Position: EVENT PLANNING MANAGER
About: At Hyatt Centric Times Square, located in the heart of Times Square, we offer our guests efficient and meaningful service with 487 guestrooms, the highest rooftop bar in Manhattan, and 2,000 square feet of meeting space, putting them in the center of all the action. The Event Planning Manager’s primary focus is on servicing Sales & Events bookings, liaising between Meeting Planners and hotel staff, and ensuring the seamless execution of all events on the property.
Requirements: Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, and enjoy working in a team environment; a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced location in Times Square; refined verbal and written communication skills; must be proficient in general computer knowledge; plan, upsell, and detail programs with clients; prefer a minimum of 2-3 years hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience; candidates should be extremely detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
