Position: EVENT PLANNING MANAGER
About: Hyatt Regency Atlanta, known as the ‘Hotel of Hope’ for its legacy in bringing people together and fostering a ‘World of Understanding’ since opening its doors in 1967, is seeking an Event Planning Manager to join their team. This role involves servicing hotel services for group business clients, focusing on Banquet Food, Beverage, AV, and Meeting Room Rental, acting as a liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff, ensuring smooth event execution.
Requirements: A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment; refined verbal and written communication skills; a minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred; proficiency in general computer knowledge; extreme attention to detail, organization, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; preference for two years of hotel experience or completion of Event Management trainee program; completion of PSS or equivalent training is a plus
