Position: Event Planning Coordinator

About: The Event Planning Coordinator position at Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino involves supporting all convention service activities and systems within the Event Planning Department. This role directly assists the Event Planning Managers and Sales and Event Planning department leadership while managing database administration. Responsibilities include maintaining exceptional customer service, preparing communications and post-convention survey data, conducting site inspections, supporting event planning, coordinating with operations teams, and more. The position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of hospitality administration experience; strong organizational skills, solution-driven, analytical thinker; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; excellent written and oral communication skills; proactive with attention to details; able to set priorities, work schedule, and meet department deadlines; high school diploma or GED required; at least 21 years of age.
