Position: Event Planning Coordinator
About: The American Heart Association, founded in 1924, is dedicated to reducing cardiovascular disease deaths. They are seeking a passionate Event Planning Coordinator to join their team and support fundraising efforts. This home-based position requires periodic travel for events in Huntsville and Tuscaloosa.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1+ years of administrative support experience in a related environment; excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; willingness to travel periodically and work outside of standard hours; ability to lift 30 lbs and drive a rental box truck; preferred: proficiency in Canva, understanding of event or meeting management
