Position: Event Planning Coordinator
About: Hyatt is a leading hospitality company that prioritizes caring and attentive service, aiming to provide efficient service and meaningful experiences for guests. The Event Planning Coordinator role at Hyatt involves servicing group sales bookings, managing room blocks, logistic planning, conflict resolution, hotel tours, and communication of client needs to the hotel staff. The coordinator works closely with Sales Managers and Operations teams to ensure a high level of service during and post-events.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior hotel experience or event planning experience preferred; proficiency in computer programs including Envision sales, Envision Detailing, Event Concierge Application, Event Concierge Console, Hy-Res, Opera, Sertifi, Hyatt Credit Portal, Group Bill, Planner Portal, and Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to change; refined verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
