Position: EVENT PLANNER – WEDDINGS
About: The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking an Event Planner – Celebrations to promote, book, and plan various events such as weddings, birthdays, proposals, anniversaries, and more. This role involves coordinating with different departments to ensure successful event execution in line with company policies and procedures.
Requirements: 21 years of age; Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States; High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Must be able to obtain and maintain a Health Card, Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card, and any other required certifications; 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Guest Services, or events; Experience in a 4 or 5-star resort/hotel; Demonstrated experience in reading and understanding Event Orders; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Working knowledge of Event Business Management System (EBMS) preferred; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English; Strong interpersonal skills; Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
