Position: Event Planner, Associate – Corporate Affairs

The Corporate Affairs department at Blackstone plays a critical role in shaping and guiding the firm’s communication strategies, including Public Affairs, Marketing, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
Requirements: 4+ years in event planning and management within a fast-paced corporate environment; Independence & Initiative: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking initiative in assignments; Vendor Knowledge: Familiarity with US venues and vendor landscapes; Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop professional relationships at various organizational levels; Team Building: Professional integrity, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment; Travel Commitment: Willingness to travel as needed for events; Negotiation Skills: Basic commercial and negotiation skills; Event Management: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; Communication: Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships; Adaptability: Ability to adjust style and approach as situations require; Event Management Tools: Familiarity with event management platforms, such as Cvent; Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
