Position: Event Operations Mgr – The Diplomat Beach Resort, Hollywood, FL
About: Manages floor operations to achieve service excellence with a focus on customer service, staff leadership, performance management and development. This position reports directly to either an Operations Director or Director, Event Technology at locations producing greater than three million dollars in revenue. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily floor activities, managing technicians, ensuring equipment delivery, billing review, inventory control, customer service, and team development. Work environment involves hotel/convention center settings with varying working conditions. Salary Pay Range: $51,762.00 – $63,409.00. Requirements: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 4+ years of audio visual and customer service/hospitality experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience. Experience in leading workflow, knowledge of audio visual equipment, proficiency with computer hardware and software, effective leadership abilities, and customer satisfaction focus required.
