Position: Event & Operations Manager
About: NOLA Gold Rugby is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event & Operations Manager to oversee all events, both in and out of season, and manage game-day operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth execution of events, coordinate game-day logistics, and foster collaborative partnerships with clients for events. They must be able to manage staff, facilities, and resources efficiently, and have a passion for sports event management.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Business, or a related field; 3-5 years of experience in event management, operations, or a similar role in sports or entertainment industries; Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale events, including budgeting and resource management; Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners; Knowledge of rugby or passion for sports is a plus; Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during game seasons; Proficiency in event management software and tools
