Position: Event Manager Operations
About: The Northern Kentucky Convention Center, located in Northern Kentucky, is seeking an Event Manager for their Operations department. This supervisory role involves managing full and part-time set up and housekeeping crews, with variable schedules based on events hosted at the center.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of three years previous experience in a convention center, hotel, or public assembly facility preferred; extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry and facility housekeeping procedures; strong interpersonal communication skills; proven planning and organizational abilities; flexibility to work weekends and holidays; ability to walk extensively throughout the facility and climb stairs
