Position: Event Manager| Macon Centreplex

About: The Event Manager position at the establishment will involve managing all aspects of assigned events from the planning stages to the event’s conclusion. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising event staff, overseeing building security, coordinating with local public safety officials, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing overall event experiences. The yearly salary for this role is $45,000 to $50,000. Requirements: 3-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in event management in a stadium, convention center, or public assembly facility setting; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in facility management, hospitality management, business, or related field; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing; Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, word processing, and Internet; Possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license; Knowledge of operational characteristics of events, crowd management, customer service practices, and fire and public safety regulations; Familiarity with entertainment/convention/public assembly terminology.
