Position: Event Manager job
About: Fidelity TalentSource, the in-house temporary staffing provider for Fidelity Investments, a global financial services firm, is seeking an Event Manager to work in Boston, MA. They aim to deliver exceptional event experiences for associates, clients, and prospects by creating and flawlessly implementing programmatic experiences. The team collaborates on over 1,000 events yearly, focusing on seamless and memorable experiences that align with business objectives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related work experience; Advanced knowledge and experience with Zoom Meeting and Zoom Video Webinar; Experience in live virtual event production including lighting, audio, video, and technical direction; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word); Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work under tight deadlines and travel within the U.S.; Outstanding time management and organizational skills with a proven record of success in managing multiple events; Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong critical thinking and active listening skills
