Position: Event Manager job
About: ASM Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking an Event Manager for the Greater Columbus Convention Center, responsible for professional client support in event planning and management. The Event Manager interacts with clients, facility staff, concessionaires, and related personnel to ensure seamless event coordination.
Requirements: Knowledge: A good understanding of administration principles related to facility provision in event centers, services, and equipment. General knowledge of event production services and vendors. Preferably, a minimum of two years of college coursework in hospitality or marketing. Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in public facility management, event promotion, or operation of conventions or trade shows. Skills/Aptitudes: Strong organizational, planning, and people skills. Excellent communication, computer, and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain a professional appearance, and work collaboratively with diverse individuals.
