Position: Event Manager job

About: The Hampton Roads Convention Center is seeking an Event Manager to join their Event Services department. The Event Manager will coordinate and provide professional client services support for events held at the convention center, acting as a liaison between the facility and clients to ensure all requirements are met.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university; one to two years of related experience and/or training; working knowledge of facility management principles; excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; problem-solving and supervisory experience preferred; professional appearance and work ethic; ability to work long and irregular hours including weekends and holidays.
