Position: Event Manager job

About: ASM Global at McCormick Place in Chicago is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Event Coordinator to oversee all facility services for events and ensure seamless event planning and execution. The ideal candidate will uphold high standards of customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff in a dynamic event environment.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University; 1 to 2 years of related work experience and/or training; Previous experience in a hotel setting is a plus; Working knowledge of facility management principles, services, and equipment; Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written; Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills; Ability to prioritize multiple projects and coordinate the work of others effectively; Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new applications; Ability to work long and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Must have physical ability to move around facilities and perform various tasks during events
