Position: Event Manager job
About: The Event Manager at ASM Global is responsible for providing professional client services support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility. They oversee all aspects of facility operations related to assigned events, including managing staff and contractors, ensuring cleanliness and repairs, and maintaining event records. The Event Manager acts as the primary liaison between clients, facility departments, and third-party vendors, coordinates event activities, and ensures compliance with regulations. This role requires flexibility to work extended and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; working knowledge of facility management principles and equipment; excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff; good written and verbal skills; ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks concurrently; problem-solving skills and supervisory experience preferred; professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic; capability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team; availability to work long and irregular hours as required by events.
