Position: Event Manager job
About: ASM GLOBAL, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking an Events Manager to join their team at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Greater-Pittsburgh. The Events Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational needs are met for events by coordinating internal resources and serving as the primary contact for clients and internal departments.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event planning, sports management, or related field required; two (2) years’ experience in convention/trade show operations with attendance over 5K; experience with unions and ability to manage conflicting priorities; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Ungerboeck, Social Tables, and 22 Miles software
