Position: Event Manager job

About: ASM Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for an Event Manager at the Dayton Convention Center. The Event Manager’s role involves providing professional client support in planning, organizing, and managing events within the facility, interacting with clients, facility staff, and related personnel.

Requirements: A good knowledge of the principles of administration related to event facilities and services; general knowledge of event production services and organizations; minimum of two years of college-level coursework in hospitality or marketing; minimum of two years’ experience in public facility management or event operation; sound organizational, planning, and people skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills; professional appearance and strong work ethic; ability to interact with people politely and courteously; ability to work well in a collaborative environment
