Position: Event Manager job
About: ASM Global’s Broward County Convention Center is currently seeking an Event Manager to provide professional client service support in planning, organizing, and managing events within the facility. This role involves overseeing event logistics and coordinating all tasks from event booking to successful completion. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; minimum of two years management-level experience coordinating events in a multi-purpose facility; bachelor’s degree from an accredited two-year college or university preferred; working knowledge of facility management principles; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and Power Point; ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all levels of staff; willingness to work long and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
