Position: Event Logistics

About: The Boca Raton Resort is seeking a detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up Attendant to join their team. The position involves setting up tables and chairs for events, attending meetings, scheduling associates, and maintaining cleanliness in the meeting spaces. Regular attendance and flexibility in working schedules are crucial due to the nature of the hospitality industry. The role reports to the Director of Mizner Center Operations and Event Logistics and involves regular interaction with resort guests.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; in-depth knowledge of meeting room set up, service standards, guest relations, and luxury resort etiquette; ability to read Banquet Event Orders and organize into working papers; knowledge of appropriate linen and table settings; strong organizational and communication skills; ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism. Prior banquet department experience preferred; prior setup experience preferred.
