Position: Event Coordinator – Sports Complex
About: South Suburban Park & Recreation District, located in Colorado, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Sales Coordinator to join their team. The district operates various recreational facilities, parks, trails, and open spaces, providing a wide range of recreational services and programs to the residents of several counties in the area.
Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Public Relations or related field; 1 year of experience in event planning, marketing, or public relations; familiarity with social media and ice scheduling preferred; valid Colorado Driver License or ability to obtain; general knowledge of event planning and sales practices; excellent communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office software; sales-oriented with strong motivation and ability to work independently or in a team; outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills; willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
