Position: Event Coordinator job
About: Boredomfighters is on a mission to empower young people through hands-on music production experiences. As we grow our impact across schools, camps, festivals, and creative spaces, we’re seeking a detail-oriented, calendar-savvy Event Coordinator to lead the charge on all logistics behind our workshops, retreats, assemblies, and pop-ups. This is a highly collaborative, cross-functional role for someone who thrives on juggling timelines, communicating with diverse teams, and ensuring every event runs like clockwork. You’ll act as the organizational glue between departments—managing dates, drafting detailed advances, and dispatching crews to deliver unforgettable musical experiences.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in event coordination or production logistics; proactive communicator with a love for details and schedules; ability to keep a team aligned across multiple moving parts; experience creating advance sheets and working across departments; familiarity with Airtable, Google Suite, Slack, and Asana; bonus if you’ve worked with music events, youth programming, or grassroots organizations
