Position: Event Coordinator job
About: ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking an Events Coordinator for the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Events Coordinator will provide professional client services support in event planning, organization, and management within the facility, overseeing event logistics from booking to conclusion.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; working knowledge of facility management principles; excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; problem-solving and communication skills; supervisory experience preferred; professional presentation and work ethic; basic computer knowledge; ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all levels of staff; willingness to work long and irregular hours including weekends and holidays; physical ability to work indoors and outdoors, walking and standing up to 8-10 hours daily
