Position: Event Coordinator job
About: ASM Global, a leading company in the events industry, is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join the Sales & Event Services department at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. This role involves providing administrative support, liaising between departments, and ensuring client requirements are met during evening and weekend hours.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university; two (2) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience; excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills; able to demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills; professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic; ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including senior management; ability to work long and irregular hours that will vary dependent upon event functions and will include day, evening, weekends and holidays.
