Position: Event Coordinator job
About: The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) owns and operates one of the nation’s largest airport systems, including Minneapolis-St Paul International (MSP) and six general aviation airports. The MAC’s airports connect the region to the world and showcase Minnesota’s extraordinary culture to millions of passengers from around the globe who arrive or depart through MAC airports each year.
Requirements: Two-year degree in hospitality, business or a related field; Five years of professional work experience in event and hospitality coordination; Ability to multi-task and stay highly organized and accountable; Process and deadline-driven; Collaborative style to work effectively with different functional areas; Proven crisis management skills; Strong team leadership and communications skills; Professional presence when interacting with clients and audience members; Understanding of business and social etiquette; Able to assist with any level of event including those of a complex nature, large volume or a high level of confidentiality
