Position: Event Coordinator job
About: Michaels store located in Waterstone, OH is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events, including kids’ birthday parties, to provide a stress-free and engaging experience for guests while delivering friendly customer service and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Operational tasks include truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store standards to fulfill Brand Promises.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; energetic and enthusiastic personality; excellent people skills; experience working with children and children’s events; good communication skills; organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills; retail and/or customer service experience required
