Position: Event Coordinator job
About: The Convention & Visitors Bureau – RMO Virginia Beach Blvd is seeking an Event Coordinator to enhance Virginia Beach’s Resort Area environment through coordination of City Code enforcement, entertainment programming, franchise business opportunities, hospitality services, and maintenance. The office also facilitates special event and film production permitting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED plus six years of experience in event supervision, hotel event coordination, association meeting planning, business or public administration, public relations, or hotel/restaurant management; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Must have or obtain a current and valid Virginia or North Carolina driver’s license. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
