Position: Event Coordinator job

About: ASM Global is a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, offering an excellent opportunity for an Events Coordinator based at the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Events Coordinator will work under the direction of the Director of Events to provide professional client services support in event planning, organization, management, and coordination tasks.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; working knowledge of facility management principles; excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; problem-solving and communication skills; supervisory experience preferred; professional presentation and work ethic; knowledge of computers; ability to work under limited supervision; ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management; ability to work long and irregular hours including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
