Requirements: Two-year degree in hospitality, business or a related field; five years of professional work experience in event and hospitality coordination; ability to multi-task and stay highly organized and accountable; process and deadline-driven; collaborative style to work effectively with different functional areas; proven crisis management skills; strong team leadership and communications skills; professional presence when interacting with clients and audience members; understanding of business and social etiquette; able to assist with any level of event including those of a complex nature, large volume or a high level of confidentiality; effective under pressure; detail oriented; ability to occasionally lift or carry items; experience motivating, engaging and recruiting event support individuals or teams; intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience setting up and troubleshooting AV technology; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to commute between sites; ability to work evenings and weekends, as planning and event schedules demand
