About: Michaels, a leading creative destination with over 1,300 stores in 49 states and Canada, is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events within their Salem, NH store. The company’s purpose is to fuel the joy of creativity, offering a variety of craft supplies, custom framing services, and a handmade goods marketplace through MakerPlace by Michaels.
Requirements: Preferred Type of experience the job requires: – Energetic and enthusiastic personality – Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers – Excellent people skills – Experience working with children and children’s events – Good communication skills (written, verbal, nonverbal) – Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills – Retail and/or customer service experience required
