Position: Event Coordinator job
About: Amentum, a company located in Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, is in search of an experienced Event Coordinator to plan and organize various events in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate and Science and Technology (S&T) and Operations Division.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience in event coordination; At least 5 years of experience in supporting government-sponsored events and coordinating meetings of varying sizes; Ability to prepare and manage event-related budgets effectively; Experience working with foreign governments and coordinating with vendors; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; Experience working with senior leadership in fast-paced environments; Must possess a SECRET security clearance; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Maintain a professional and courteous attitude
