Position: Event Coordinator job

About: The company is seeking an Events Coordinator to assist in planning and coordinating events under the direction of the Catering Sales Manager. They are looking for a creative and energetic individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED required; Experience: 3+ years’ experience in private events, wedding coordination, food and beverage hospitality, or related professional area preferred; Operational Knowledge/Experience: Good at thinking through event logistics; Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and gain respect and trust of staff; Customer Service Focused: Positive attitude towards guests and team; Highly Organized and Detail Oriented: Strong organizational skills; Comfortable working without supervision and open to feedback; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must demonstrate a pleasant, friendly demeanor; Proficiency with email and Microsoft office required; Experience with Triple Seat preferred or relative event software; Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate private event bookings
