Position: Event Coordinator job
About: Chicago Stars FC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations and Events Coordinator to assist in the planning and execution of home matches at various spaces including the field side area, gates, concourse, and hospitality spaces. The role involves coordinating with internal departments, overseeing inventory management, ensuring timely distribution of event information, and maintaining operational oversight of fan experience programs and matchday participants. The position requires attendance at all home matches at Chicago Stars FC, valid Driver’s License, and the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in operations and event planning; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management, Event Planning, and/or Sports Management preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistical coordination for large events; Ability to prioritize tasks, problem solve, and work collaboratively with stakeholders; Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in an outdoor stadium environment
