Position: Event Coordinator job
About: The Raising Cane’s River Center / ASM GLOBAL, located in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Event Coordinator. This position involves coordinating client needs with building staff to ensure the smooth operation of events held at the center.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; two (2) to three (3) years related experience in event coordination or meeting planning; customer/guest service experience required; ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and initiative; strong organizational and prioritization skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in MS Office, Celayix Scheduling System, and E-Time Software; flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays; physical requirements include standing/walking for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and extended periods of standing
