About: Michaels Store in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events, including kids’ birthday parties, within the store. The role focuses on delivering a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for all customers.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in event coordination, customer service, and retail preferred; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to interact effectively with guests of all ages and work well in a team environment; familiarity with crafts and creative activities; retail and/or customer service experience required
